As announced earlier this month, ahead of the 10th season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Prysmian Group, the worldwide leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, will continue its partnership with Andretti Formula E. Following a spectacular debut season with the team through Season 9, which witnessed Andretti driver Jake Dennis clinch the Formula E Driver’s World Championship, Prysmian Group will continue providing solutions for the transmission of power and information across all of Andretti Formula E’s sustainable electrification efforts.

Renewed Commitment to Innovation

Prysmian Group, the first cable maker to partner with a Formula E team as a major sponsor, is excited to renew its partnership with Andretti Formula E. The company aims to strengthen its value proposition by promoting innovation and sustainable development also in the strategic sectors of e-mobility, renewable power transmission and distribution, and digital solutions.

“Cable and optical fiber technologies are key enablers of energy transition, electrification and digitalization processes. In particular in the e-mobility industry they are essential for cars, charging infrastructures and related grid integration,” stated Prysmian Group CEO-designate Massimo Battaini. “We have been the first cable maker to partner with a Formula E team as major sponsor, with the goal – as leader in the sector – of promoting innovation. We are excited to continue building on this partnership and join forces to continue to create value.”

Empowering Sustainable Electrification Efforts

Prysmian Group will continue to play a pivotal role in supporting Andretti Formula E’s sustainable electrification efforts. In Season 9, key innovations such as the in-garage PRY-CAM monitoring system provided valuable energy-usage data and consumption insights to the team. The strategic partnership, rooted in shared core values of e-mobility innovation sustainability, challenge and performance, is poised to reach new heights in their second season of collaboration.

As previously announced, Prysmian Group joins NAGASE Group, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Crowe UK in returning to the Andretti Formula E partnership lineup for Formula E’s highly anticipated Season 10 and will be featured across the No. 1 and No. 17 Porsche 99X Electrics of reigning Formula E World Champion Jake Dennis and series race winner Norman Nato for the full season. Season 10 of the Formula E World Championship goes green January 13 with the Mexico City E-Prix.
