British-American team Andretti United Extreme E has announced a Title Partnership with global cloud leader Genesys for Season 2 of Extreme E.

Ushering in the future of racing, Extreme E shares parallels with Genesys which is leading the future of the customer experience, and brings further international awareness opportunities to the company. After a successful debut season, winning the Artic X Prix in Greenland, Andretti United has confirmed the return of both Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen for Season 2.

“Genesys and Extreme E are trailblazing the future of experiences for customers and fans,” said Joyce Kim, Chief Marketing Officer at Genesys. “While Extreme E is reimagining what racing can look like, providing new and exciting experiences for fans everywhere, Genesys has pioneered the Experience as a Service market, enabling organisations around the world to deliver amazing experiences to their customers. The synergy between Genesys and Extreme E make this an electrifying partnership.”

With more than 50 offices worldwide, Genesys orchestrates more than 70 billion remarkable customer experiences each year for organisations in more than 100 countries. Genesys technology helps organizations around the globe connect with their consumers empathetically, delivering personalised experience – when where and how customers prefer.

This new venture comes after the recent announcement that the company will also serve as an official sponsor of Avalanche Andretti Formula E, led by Michael Andretti, in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

“We’re thrilled that Genesys is joining our team on this journey, and proud to take on the name of Genesys Andretti United,” said co-team owner Richard Dean. “We’re honoured that in such a short time we have emerged as an interesting platform around which Genesys can communicate and activate internationally. Having a partner the caliber of Genesys join within our first 12 months as a brand is a testament to the Extreme E platform and our commitment to the future of motorsport.”

“I couldn’t be happier to have Genesys partner with our Extreme E effort and join us to focus on global expansion,” added co-team owner, Michael Andretti. “The continued growth of our international operations has provided further opportunity for Genesys to remain in partnership with us through this new title partnership. Not only will Genesys Andretti United continue to strive for success on track, but with Genesys we can continue the positive movements around both environmental and social sustainability.”

Extreme E is a radical racing series, seeing electric SUVs competing in extreme environments around the world. The five-race global voyage highlights the impact of climate change on some of the world’s most fragile ecosystems and promotes the adoption of electric vehicles to help preserve the environment and protect the planet. Genesys is focused on growth through more sustainable business practices and has set the goal to become carbon neutral by 2030.

With racing operations based in England, the team welcomes a home race this week as the inaugural season concludes at Bovington, Dorset in the UK with the Jurassic X Prix. Andretti United Extreme E remains third in the overall standings – 20 points adrift of X44 in second and 36 behind championship leaders Rosberg X Racing with 129 points.
